Abstract

1387464 Knitting-machines ELITEX-ZAVODY TEXTILNIHO STROJIRENSTVI GENERALNI REDITELSTVI 9 June 1972 [18 June 1971] 27150/72 Heading D1C A picker 33 on a single cylinder circular knitting machine is controlled by a device comprising a system of linkwork between a control drum 26 having a segment 25 thereon which during normal knitting takes the picker out of operation and a cam 15 on a drive shaft of the machine which actuates the needle cylinder which cam 15 controls the picker 33 when the follower 24 is off the segment 25. The drive to the needle cylinder 1 from shaft 9 is taken either from a gear wheel 8 for continuous rotary knitting or a rockable segment gear 13, selection being made by a clutch 7.
