Abstract

1383860 Hot gas engines UNITED STIRLING SWEDEN AB & CO KB 28 April 1973 20329/73 Heading F1S The invention relates to a hot gas engine power control system comprising a supply reservoir 5 for suppling working gas via a valve controlled conduit 6 to at least one working chamber 1, 2, 3 or 4 of the engine and a compressor 12 for supplying working gas to the reservoir 5. The system includes a valve controlled short circuiting duct 16. According to the invention a receiver reservoir 18 is disposed between the short circuiting duct and the compressor inlet and is included in a valve controlled conduit 9 through which the working gas is supplied to the compressor. Preferably the receiver reservoir is adjacent to the compressor.
