1383064 Kerb drainage units; permanent shuttering H PELETZ 20 Oct 1972 [14 Feb 1972] 48525/72 Headings E1G and E1S Kerb drainage units of concrete are cast in situ by the use of permanent shuttering elements of metal or plastics which carry the reinforcing metal rods for the concrete, the shuttering element comprising a preshaped form liner 1, Fig. 1 or 101, Fig. 4 of concavoconvex configuration reinforced by an L-section nosing 4, Fig. 1 or 107, Fig. 4-e.g. of galvanised steel-and the rod reinforcement comprising a concavo-convex network selected rods of which have hooked ends as at 23, Fig. 3, or as in Figs. 6, 7 (not shown), for mounting the network in spaced relation to the liner. The permanent shuttering elements may be nailed to the shuttering, boards 13, Fig. 3, of the adjacent kerbing. Fig. 3 illustrates additional reinforcing hooks 5 and removable backing shuttering 15.
