1381445 Sintered Al alloy MAHLE GmbH 15 Aug 1973 [31 Oct 1972] 38501/73 Heading C7A Heat resistant sintered alloy, suitable for I.C. engine pistons, comprises:- The initial Si C powder preferably has a compact spherical form or has rounded edges, and the powder may be pre-coated with Cu or Ni. The powder for sintering is preferably pre-alloyed.
