Abstract

1379837 Valve bags CANADIAN INDUSTRIES Ltd 16 Aug 1973 [13 Sept 1972] 42447/72 Addition to 1367001 Heading B8K In a plastics valved bag as described in Specification 1,367,001 the innermost ply of any multi-ply panel is formed of a different plastics material from the outermost ply. The bag is made of separate sheets and not from a tube. The inner ply may be of high density polyethylene and the outer of low density polyethylene. The inner ply may be of a more flexible material to provide a more secure valve. Only the second panel of the front wall may be of two plies, the remainder of the bag being of a single ply. There may be one or more plies between the inner and outer plies provided the plies can be heat sealed together.
