Abstract

1,114,308. Bag tubes. RHEINISCHE BLATTMETALL A.G. 30 Sept., 1965 [1 Oct., 1964], No. 41585/65. Heading F2P. [Also in Division B5] Longitudinally seamed flat bags of tubular form are made by heat sealing the inside face to the outside face of a wrapping foil comprising an aluminium foil as a centre ply bonded on both faces to a thermoplastic synthetic film, at least one of the films being biaxially prestretched. The examples describe the use of foils comprising 1 (a) an aluminium foil bonded on each face to a prestretched polypropylene film and (2) an aluminium bonded on one face to polypropylene film and on the other face to prestretched polypropylene film.
