Abstract

1379304 Pneumatic conveyers SAUNIER DUVAL 24 March 1972 14097/72 Heading B8A A despatch and receiving station arranged a<SP>t</SP> the end of a branch line 2 of a pneumatic conveyer system comprises a support 6, for a cartridge to be despatched, pivoted about an axis 7 and having a part 6a thereof formed by part of the tube 3. A counterbalanced flap valve 4 closes the end of the tube 3. In operation when suction is applied to the tube 3 the valve 4 closes and the support 6 pivots inwardly into the tube to insert the cartridge into the tube. When the tube is pressurized the support returns to its normal position and the valve 4 opens to allow a cartridge to be delivered in a basket 11.
