Abstract

1378439 Container closures JONKOPINGS VACUUMINDUSTRI AB 4 April 1972 [10 May 1971] 15381/72 Heading B8T A stopper 1 for a vacuum flask has ribs 11 which support a ring body 12 carrying a thread 13 that co-operates with thread 26 on the neck 23 of a jacket 20 which surrounds a vacuum container 16. When liquid is to be poured from the vacuum flask, stopper 1 is partially unscrewed until a conical portion 3 is disengaged from an inner surface 32 of the vacuum container 16. Liquid can then be poured through passages 15 which are formed between cylindrical portion 6, ribs 11 and the internal surface of the ring body 12. Instead of threads 13, 26 there may be quick threads or a bayonet closure.
