1378225 Wet treatment of fabrics KLEINEWEFERS INDUSTRIE COMPANIE GmbH 7 Sept 1972 [7 Sept 1971] 41657/72 Addition to 1321908 Heading DIL In a process for the wet treatment of textile webs the web is passed through an apparatus comprising an impregnating unit having a set of rolls pressed together and arranged for the web to be firmly guided over the rolls and wherein the web is impregnated by dipping into a strong dye or by spraying on such liquid and the impregnated web wound on a drum by pressure of the final roll of the set against the drum under a constant force and wherein during the winding on of the web on the drum weak dye liquor is pumped on or through the wound-on web of fabric. The apparatus is substantially identical to that described in Specification 1321908 except that means is provided to prevent the liquor pumped on or through the wound-up web from contaminating the liquid impregnant.
