Abstract

1378099 Ink droplet printers CASIO COMPUTER CO Ltd 20 Feb 1973 [28 Feb 1972] 8165/73 Heading B6F A deflecting electrode assembly for ink droplet printers comprises an insulating substrate 6 having an opening 7, a first group of electrodes 13a, 13b, 13c in pairs each defining a passageway 15a, 15b, 15c therebetween, and a second group of electrodes 14a, 14b, 14c in pairs each sandwiching a pair of first electrodes and further defining the passageways, the electrodes being attached to the substrate 6 and forming paired vertical and horizontal deflecting electrodes. The electrodes are etched from a single sheeet 8 of eleotroconductive material, the first step in the process of manufacture leaving the margins of the plate intact, the sheet then being attached to the substrate 6, and finally opposite peripheral margins of the sheet being cut away from the plate.
