Abstract

1377617 Ventilating and heating or cooling vehicles SAAB-SCANIA AB 18 Nov 1971 [27 Nov 1970] 53661/71 Heading F4V A motor vehicle ventilating and heating or cooling system comprises a heat exchanger 10 which is selectively included in first and second liquid circulation systems 9, 13 supplied with engine coolant and respectively in heat exchange relationship with the engine 3 and an evaporator 14 of a refrigeration system, and a fan or fans 11 for passing air over the heat exchanger 10 into the vehicle passenger compartment. Liquid flow through the pipe systems 9, 13 is controlled by a valve 12 and by a non-return valve 16 and a pump 15 respectively.
