Abstract
1377403 Knitting-machines ELITEX-ZAVODY TEXTILNIHO STROJIRENSTVI GENERALNI REDITELSTVI 1 June 1972 [18 June 1971] 25581/72 Heading DIC A multifeed double cylinder knitting machine in which needles are transferred from one cylinder to the other comprises needle jacks in tricks of the upper cylinder and needle jacks and therebelow selectors in aligned tricks of the lower cylinder; transferable needles; selection means operating on the selectors, a cam system for co-operation with needle jacks in each cylinder and a cam system having cams to act on the control butts of all selectors and cams for co-operation with selected selectors, a first lifter cam for lifting selected selectors which are returned to a common path before reaching a second selection means, a second lifter cam to lift selected selectors at this point such that the needle jacks in the lower cylinder following a low path are deflected down taking with them their associated selectors, the needle jacks of the upper cylinder are deflected down to pass the needles to raised jacks in the lower cylinder and selectors in the lower cylinder following the high path are raised by a third lifter to transfer needles to jacks of the upper cylinder.
