Abstract

1377001 Retractive switches DANFOSS A/S 4 Jan 1972 [12 Jan 1971] 307/72 Heading H1N A snap-action electric -switch comprises operating means 3, a movable lever 4, a snapaction spring 12, a fixed contact 8 and at least one movable contact 6, 10, resilient means 5, 9 biasing contacts 6, 10 towards contact 8, and actuating means 13 attached to lever 4 and arranged relative to movable contact 6, 10 so that when lever 4 is moved in one direction means 13 moves a movable contact 6, 10 out of engagement with fixed contact 8 and when lever 4 is moved in the opposite direction (under its own resilience when means 3 is released or when depressed) contact 6, 10 engages contact 8 under the action of resilient means 5, 9 and without force being applied to movable contact 6, 10 by actuating means 13. The operating force is adjustable by bending end 11 supporting spring 12. In a second embodiment, Fig. 3 (not shown) there is only one movable contact 32 and lever 20 is rigid and urged upwardly by a spring 28, and snap-spring 21 is adjustable by screw 23. Also stops 24, 25 limiting the movement of lever 20 may be adjusted in position and springs 27 28 may be altered.
