Abstract
1,078,905. Retractive switches. SAGINOMIYA SEISAKUSHO KABUSHIKI-KAISHA. March 21, 1966, No. 12276/66. Heading H2B. Pressure on a button 4 moves a first operating plate 1, which has a U-shaped leaf spring 2 between it and a pivoted operating plate 3, the spring 2 causing snap movement of plate 3 in the gap G of a bent portion 10 of a resilient movable contactcarrying plate 5 having a snap spring 6, the contact 7 then snapping from fixed contact 8 to 9 (as shown) and the spring 6 reversing to press the contact 7 against the contact 9. Release of button 4 allows plate 3 to reverse quickly and move operating plate 1 back to its original position (Fig. 1, not shown), and also cause snap movement of plate 5 with contact 7 from contact 9 back to contact 8. Both springs 6 and 2 may be U-shaped leaf springs (Figs. 15, 16, not shown), and the plates 1, 3 and 5 may be arranged slightly differently.
