Abstract

1376989 Mounting of components in openend spinners WILHELM STAHLECKER GmbH 19 June 1972 [21 June 1971] 28637/72 Heading DID In an open-end spinning machine guides for feeding fibres and delivery yarn are releasably mounted on a frame 2, which in the operating position closes the rotor housing so as to be movable away from the spinning rotor 8 e.g. by pivoting at 3. The fibre feeding and opening devices are also releasably mounted on the frame 2. A guide insert 5 is mounted to frame 2 by e.g. screws 2b or spring clips, Fig. 8 (not shown), and is exchangeable to replace the guides. This insert may be a circular section plug 95, Fig. 9. A hinged cover 13 may be arranged on the frame 2 and closed by a spring catch, Fig. 3 (not shown). The rotor chamber 4 may have a cover 8a2 retained by a spring catch,. Fig. 5 (not shown). The rotor may be detachably mounted to its shaft Figs. 14 and 15 (not shown). The rotor may also have detachable inserts 138a, Figs. 13 to allow alternative internal profiles to be used, see also Fig. 12 (not shown). The rotor bearings may comprise edge contact discs 9, see also Fig. 7 (not shown) and drive is via a belt 10.
