Die Dichtfläche 38 weist dabei eine Länge 1 auf, die größer ist, als der Querschnitt S einer Ringdichtung 39, die in einer Ringnut 41 des Grundkörpers 27 eines zugehörigen Kanalplattenadapters 12 angeordnet ist.
Die Dichtfläche 38 weist außerdem, wie ersichtlich, in Bezug auf die Lagerfläche 40 eine maximal Tiefe t auf, die weniger als die halbe Stärke S der Ringdichtung 39 des Kanalplattenadapters 12 beträgt.
Im Einbauzustand des Kanalplattenadapters 12 liegt die Ringdichtung 39 an der Dichtfläche 38 der Aufnahme 31 des Deckel elements 8 an und bildet mit dieser eine das Rotorgehäuse zuverlässig abdichtende radial wirkende Dichteinrichtung.

    in the installed state of the channel plate adapter (12) between the mount (31) of the cap element (8) and the main body (27) of the channel plate adapter (12) a sealing device (37) is provided which has a peripheral sealing surface (38) which is arranged to be concentric to the central longitudinal axis (60) of the spinning rotor (3) rotating in the rotor housing (2) when the cap element is closed and against which an opposite elastic annular seal (39) is supported radially.
  2. Cap element according to claim 1, characterised in that the sealing device (37) is formed by the peripheral sealing surface (38), which is integrated into the mount (31) of the cap element (8), and an annular seal (39) is formed, which is arranged in an annular groove (41) of the main body (27) of the channel plate adapter (12).
  3. Cap element according to claim 1, characterised in that the sealing surface (38) is arranged in a recess in the input side section of a conically designed bearing surface (44) of the mount (31) of the cap element (8).
  4. Cap element according to claim 1, characterised in that the sealing surface (38) has an axial length (1) relative to the central axis of the spinning rotor, which length is greater than the cross section (S) of the annular seal (39) of the channel plate adapter (12).
  5. Cap element according to claim 1, characterised in that the recess has a maximum depth (t) relative to the conically designed bearing surface (44) of the mount (31), which depth is smaller than half the cross section (S) of the annular seal (39) of the channel plate adapter (12).
