Abstract

1376980 Ejectors PELTZER & EHLERS 6 June 1972 [29 Sept 1971] 26298/72 Headings B3H and B3Q An ejector mechanism for a press die 1 comprises a rocking lever 8 pivoted about an axis 7 with one arm 6 actuating an ejector 3 and the other arm 19 carrying a roller 18 engaged with a linear driving surface 17 of a drive lever 12 and adjustable parallel to the surface when the ejector is in its forward position. The roller 18 is mounted on a block movable by a screw 20. The drive lever 12 is actuated by a cam 10 and biased towards the cam by a spring mechanism 15. The adjustment changes the stroke length of the ejector but the extreme forward position remains unaltered. The ejector mechanism is used in a multistage press with several dies each having an adjustable cam driven ejector linkage.
