Abstract

The machining operation is carried out on a cutting and grinding machine. The support plate of the machine comprises a drift pin mounted in the mandrel. A parallel variable support drift pin has a variable stop with a rotating stop ffront, mounted on it. The length of the rod is fixed by these stops and is mounted in a groove between the support plate and a holdfast. The distance between the support and the holdfast is maintained by a variable screw on which a compression spring exerts a force. This distance can be varied by means of a nut.
