Abstract

1376015 Tank vehicles SOC DES ETABS HUGONNET 11 Feb 1972 [17 Feb 1971] 6554/72 Heading B7B [Also in Division E1] A stainless steel cylindrical storage tank 10 horizontally mounted on a frame 20, which may constitute the chassis of a lorry, is provided with at least one stainless steel reinforcing band 4 welded thereto and is secured to the frame by suitably profiled brackets 3, 6 of mild steel. The members 3, 6 are edge welded together and the bracket so formed is lap welded to the band 4. The member 6 may extend completely around the periphery of the band 4.
