The central tunnel member 5 of the motor vehicle chassis frame described in Specification 992,773 is sealed by end bulkheads 13 and 14 to form a fuel container, a filler pipe 16 and antisurge bulkheads 17 being fitted. Alternatively, a separate fuel container may be housed in the tunnel.
