Abstract

1,113,725. Spare fuel container. A. K. LOVEDAY. 31 May, 1966 [31 May, f965], No. 23062/65. Heading B7H. [Also in Division B8] A spare fuel container has a body portion 10 of substantially circular cross-section which reduces in girth in an axial direction, said body having a principal peripheral surface portion 10b which in cross-section is an incomplete circle, and a remaining portion 10c which is inset with respect to an imaginary completing arc of said circle, said container having a threaded neck 11 extending from said inset portion and lying within said completing arc. In the embodiment of Fig. 4 the container is in cross-section a major sector of a circle, and a neck 18 lies in the minor sector when used as a handle and may swivel out to form a spout. The lower faces of the containers are shaped to fit into the body of a vehicle wheel.
