Abstract

1375228 Spraying ground H OSTER 12 June 1972 [11 June 1971 2 Sept 1971] 27314/72 Heading A1D [Also in Division B2] A sprayer nozzle 1 is supported by a parallel linkage 3 on a guide 4 the lower end of which has a plate 5 arranged to contact the ground at an angle to the direction of travel of the device to remove irregularities in the ground surface. A vertically adjustable bar 8 supports the nozzle the supply tube 2 of which is angled so that the nozzle sprays the ground to one side of the device. In an embodiment the parallel linkage is attached to a bar resiliently supported inside a hollow guide 4.
