Abstract
1309173 Destroying foam CREUSOT-LOIRE 23 Oct 1970 [30 Oct 1969] 50398/70 Heading B1M Foam formed on top of a liquid is destroyed by directing gas from at least one nozzle over the whole surface of the liquid. The nozzles may be on rotating arms or reciprocating rectilinearly moving arms, the movement being caused by the inclination of the jets. In Fig. 1, gas from nozzles 4 is directed over the whole of the surface of the foam formed on liquid 2 by rotation of arms 5 caused by the oblique direction of nozzles 4.
