Abstract
1372928 Pneumatic conveyers S MASUDA 22 Sept 1972 [6 Oct 1971] 43901/72 Heading B8A [Also in Division B2] A pneumatic conveyer 70 comprises a plenum chamber 92 to which air is admitted via an inlet 90 and a porous insulating support on which powder is to be carried there being a series of exciter electrodes located in the porous support. The electrodes are arranged in groups which are connected to respective terminals of a three-phase transformer whereby a travelling wave electric field is produced to transport the powder towards a collector pipe 71.
