Abstract

1372200 Plate roof supports K EHRENBERG 16 Nov 1971 [26 Nov 1970] 53248/71 Heading E1W An adjustable support plate 8 for supporting a roof of panels 28, 28 above a roof 1 comprises a sheet metal bearer plate 40a provided with struck out fastening tabs 33, 34 deformed out of the plane of the plate to provide recesses and with struck out securing tabs 35 to prevent the disengagement of inverted channel like framing elements 20, 200 from the recesses. The bearer plate is further provided with a tubular element 14 internally threaded at its lower end 15 to engage a threaded stud 5 embedded to the roof. The plate may be formed with a central hollow frusto-conical portion 12, glued or welded to the upper end of the tube 14. The channel frames may be slid over or resiliently clipped on the tabs 33, 34. The supports 8 may be formed of metal or may be of plastics formed in two symetrical halves welded or adhered together.
