Abstract

924,930. Posts. A.E.I. LAMP & LIGHTING CO. Ltd. Aug. 27, 1959 [Sept. 12, 1958], No. 29371/58. Class 20 (1). A lighting column comprises a base 3 of sheet material bent to a V-section 3a, 3b in plan and closed over the lower part of its length by a plate 6, the bent ends 6a, 6b of which are received by channels 3e, 3f, the remainder of the base being closed by a door 7. A triangular aluminium shaft 1 seats in a junction part 2 welded at 2e and 5 to the top of the base 3 and is secured by epoxy resin adhesive 4. The shaft 1 is triangular in plan and may be formed of three parts 1a, 1b, 1c, Fig. 5.
