Bowden mechanism.-An operating-lever a for Bowden-wire and like mechanism carries secured to its pivot b one or more selecting-plates f with lugs g adapted to engage selectively with two or more levers h loose on the pivot b and connected by links k to blocks l sliding in slots m in the casing c and secured to the inner wires n of the Bowden mechanisms of which the outer members p are secured to lugs q on the casing. Separate selecting-plates each brought into action by sliding the pivot b axially may be used. One or more auxiliary levers u pivoted to the main lever a may be used to operate blocks w attached to the inner wires of additional Bowden mechanisms.
