Abstract

1370976 Transferring developed electrostatic images RICOH CO Ltd 20 Sept 1972 [20 Sept 1971] 43598/72 Headings B8R RL R222 and R248 A developed electrostatic image on a drum 2 is transferred to a copy sheet 11 with the assistance of a corona discharge means 7 supplied with a D.C. biased A.C. signal, the D.C. bias serving to assist transfer and the A.C. signal serving to partially discharge the sheet 11 and facilitating separation of the sheet 11 from the drum 2. The A.C. signal may be shaped.
