Abstract

1370466 Cremation furnaces WELLMAN INCANDESCENT FURNACE CO Ltd 21 July 1972 [6 May 1971] 13532/71 Addition to 1229393 Heading F4B In the cremation furnace disclosed in Specification 1,229,393 the axial waste gases flue 24 is extended inwardly of the secondary combustion chamber 22 and is associated with a shoot 28 leading to an ash box 30. The latter is connected to the flue 24 by a narrow pipe 34. The heavier particles carried by the rotating waste gases in the substantially cylindrical chamber 22 tend to accummulte near the chamber wall and to spin off into the shoot 28.
