1370234 Method and apparatus for dispensing liquid SELECT SYSTEMS Inc 6 Jan 1972 691/72 Heading A4T In a method and apparatus for dispensing liquid a plurality of inverted bottles 17 containing e.g. liquor are each connected through valves 18 to a tilted manifold 10 to which air pressure, at least atmospheric, is applied at its elevated end at 25 and from which liquid is withdrawn under the air pressure at its lower end at 26 leading to e.g. a bar tap. On opening several valves, liquid flows into the manifold with air bubbling into the bottles, the highest bottle emptying first then the next lowest and in sequence. On closing its valve, an empty bottle may be removed while liquid is being dispensed from other bottles. The bottles are supported in harnesses formed by abutments 20, 22 pulled towards each other by springs 21 and held by chains 24.
