Abstract

1318462 Dispensing closures WIMMER KG 19 Aug 1970 [23 Aug 1969 27 Oct 1969] 39878/70 Heading B8T A resilient-walled chamber 1 of a dispensing closure is connected to a nozzle 2 by a duct 3 which is of such a size that, without pressure on the chamber 1, no liquid from a bottle to which the closure may be applied would pass through the duct. A cylindrical passage 10 through the nozzle is divided into chambers 13, 14, by baffles 11 whose edges 12 may extend at least as far as the central axis of the nozzle. The internal configuration of the nozzle is such that liquid is discharged from the nozzle in single drops independently of the degree of pressure exerted on the chamber 1. A flange on the lower end of the chamber 1 enables it to be connected to the bottle by means of a screw-ring (not shown). The baffles 11 may be annular, Fig. 1 (not shown).
