1369782 Deburring the edges of a moving metal band A S MASLOV 18 Jan 1973 2659/73 Heading B3L A tool for deburring the edges of a moving metal band 39 comprises a frame 1 adapted to be mounted on the band to serve as a supporting element, tool holders 2 mounted on the frame so that they can be adjusted for band width, burr cutting tools 3, guides 4 on the frame for guiding the band into a cutting zone, a mechanism 5 for adjusting the cutting tools in relation to the height of the burrs, a device, the four rollers 19, for orientating the band plane in relation to said cutting tools and limiting alterations of the band position in relation to the height of said guides. The frame consists of two parts 7 and 8. Part 8 slides into part 7 and carries two rollers 19 that oppose the cutting force P and a further roller 19 that opposes a similar roller 19 on part 7. Mechanism 5 consists of a screw 26 connected at one end of a spring loaded arm 9 which is pivoted at 10 to frame 7. The other end of the arm carries a rocking lever 12. The frame is connected by a link 30 to a stationary part 31. The cutters, rollers and guides are driven by the band.
