Abstract

1369301 Centre weft fork stop motions WEEFAUTOMATEN PICANOL NV 25 Feb 1972 [3 March 1971] 8830/72 Heading DIE . Failure of weft allows a centre weft fork 16 to pivot and operate a proximity switch 25 to stop the loom. A lever 18 is pivoted on the sley 1 and is attached to a cam 17 and a link 20 that is slidable on the loom frame 4 against the action of a spring 26 and carries a member 23 operating the proximity switch 25. As the sley beats-up, the cam 17 is oscillated by the members 18, 20 and operates the weft fork 16. In the event of weft failure the excess movement of the weft fork 16 stops the oscillation of the cam 17 causing the link 20 to slide on the frame and operate the proximity swich 15.
