Abstract

1369186 Load-engaging Jack heads AISIN SEIKI KK 15 June 1973 28524/73 Heading B8J A load-lifting jack of pantograph construction has a load-lifting head 14 with a longitudinal groove 27 which increases in width towards its ends to allow limited pivotal movement of a longitudinal member engaged in the groove 27. As illustrated in Fig. 2 (not shown) movement of about 30 degrees either way is permitted. Pivoted upper and lower arms 10, 11 and 12, 13 have respective meshing teeth and are actuated by a lead-screw 24 threaded through a nut 17 and engaging a thrust bearing 25.
