Abstract

1367090 Seed strips BUNZL & BIACH AG 8 Dec 1971 [23 Dec 1970 2 June 1971] 57086/71 Heading B8C [Also in Division A1] Seeds are dispersed in a web of rot resistant non-woven textile fibres. The seeds may be sandwiched between two such webs which are interconnected by glueing or needling. Alternatively the lower web may be rottable and consist of straw or leaves. A hydrophilic material such as staple-rayon waste may also be sandwiched between the webs. The lower web may contain fertilizers, trace elements, growth substances, insecticides, or soil-binding agents. The upper web may include fuzible fibres and be formed by heat treatment.
