1366144 Gas turbine engine combustion equipment MITSUBISHI JUKOGYO KK 14 Sept 1971 [14 Sept 1970] 42879/71 Headings F4T and TA2A1 A combustion chamber for a gas turbine engine comprises a fuel injector, a swirler 2 arranged concentrically with respect to the fuel injector and having swirl vanes 101, the swirl vanes being inclined at an angle of between 30 degrees and 40 degrees to an axial plane, there being a plurality of guide ducts 3, 4, 5 disposed in the wall of the chamber to guide air into the chamber towards the mixing zone. The guide ducts are arranged in an annular row being equi-spaced in the annular direction.
