Abstract

1363661 Bearings ADA (HALIFAX) Ltd 11 Aug 1972 [21 May 1971] 16304/71 Heading F2A A bearing is formed in a plate, by forming in the plate a frusto-conical sleeve, placing in the sleeve a spherical bearing member adapted to receive a shaft, and deforming the walls of the sleeve at the larger diameter end by spinning so as to retain the bearing member. The bearing member may be of oil impregnated sintered bronze.
