Abstract
1360828 Light guides ARTHUR KLEMT KG 6 Aug 1971 [7 Aug 1970] 37086/71 Heading G2J [Also in Divisions G4 and H4] A light guide effective to project abutting areas of an object on to non-abutting spaced photo-cells 15 comprises a bundle of light conducting elements 11, the elements at end 12 being in a configuration geometrically similar to that of the abutting areas, all the light from these areas being projected on to the respective photo-cells 15, which photo-cells are in a configuration geometrically similar to the arrangement of the elements. Curved ends, as shown, of the elements may act as lenses, and the individual elements may be bent. The elements may also taper along their length. A common lens may be provided for end 12 Fig. 5 (not shown). The light conducting elements may be coloured or tinted.
