Abstract
983,342. Lens systems. EDNALITE CORPORATION. April 19, 1963 [Dec,19, 1962], No. 15609/63. Drawings to Specification. Heading G2J. A lens system comprises a plurality of optically aligned lens elements each having at least one spherical surface, the rearmost lens with respect to the object having a plane reflective rear surface, so that light from the object is reflected and again passes through the lens system to form an image that is in front of the lens system. The number of elements in the system is one-half of the number required in an equivalent symmetrical system plus one. Data is given for one example.
