Abstract

1359294 Toast warmer F J JONES and H J JONES 12 Aug 1971 [20 Aug 1970] 40082/70 Heading A4D A toast warmer 20 comprises a toast store having a rack 21 and a heater and moisturizing means for moistening toast in the store, the moisturizing means comprises a tank 25 for water having a perforated upper portion 34. A thermostatically controlled electrical heating element 27 is also provided. The heater for warming the toast comprises secondary heating elements 36 attached to side walls 31 of a casing 29 surrounding the toast store. The secondary heating elements may also be thermostatically controlled. The casing may be double-walled Fig. 3 (not shown), the space between the walls (50, 51), being in communication with water in the tank (45) and the inner wall (50) being perforated. The casing may be transparent or be replaced by a removable cover (18) Fig. 1 (not shown). Air may be circulated by a fan.
