Hand-trucks.-A wheeled carrier for lifting and removing bedsteads with their occupants consists of an open rectangular frame A, supported on two preferably pneumatic-tyred wheels B<1>, which is placed over and around the bedstead and tilted successively towards each end to enable pairs of hooks E<1>, E<111>, carried by the revoluble ends C, C' of the frame A, to be swung under the ends of the bedstead H shown in dotted lines. A movable arched stay F strengthens the frame A. The carrier rests on a pair of small wheels G when not in use. The foot of the bed may be supported on a transverse rod carried by sockets J, instead of in the hooks E<111>. The hooks E<1>, E<111> are preferably spring-mounted. The Provisional Specification states that the hooks at one end are fixed.
