1359124 Relay armature pivot REYROLLE PARSONS Ltd 29 Dec 1972 60063/72 Addition to 1205924 Heading H1N An electromagnetic relay of the type described in Specification 1,205,924 has its armature 17, 22 located by a head 26 at one end of a supporting post 25, which passes through an aperture 31, 32 in the armature and has its other end secured to the yoke 10, the post 25 being directed away from the yoke 10 towards the magnetic core 14, with its head 26 close to the knife edge 20, 21 so that part 22 of the armature engages behind the head 26 to retain the armature against the knife edge. The yoke end is bifurcated to form legs 11, 12 with aligned knife edges 20, 21 thereon and the post 25 is secured to a support plate 28 attached at 29 to legs 11, 12. Two aligned posts 25 may be provided.
