Abstract

1354917 Regulating I C engine fuel supply ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 5 Aug 1971 [8 Aug 1970] 36883/71 Heading F1B [Also in Divisions G4 and H1] A control circuit for the fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine comprises a counter 16 and a binary to decimal decoder 19. Switch contacts 14, closed by cams 12a, 12b, 12c on a cam plate 12 rotatable with an ignition distributor shaft 11, supply pulses to the counter 16 which also receives reset pulses from contacts 15 closed by a single cam on a cam plate 13. The counter supplies a binary coded output to the decoder 19 which in turn supplies decimal coded signals to a logic circuit, Fig. 3 (not shown). The logic circuit provides pulses in sequence to a group of switching amplifiers each of which controls a respective fuel injection valve.
