Abstract

1353722 Gas sample cell FORD MOTOR CO Ltd 21 Aug 1972 [15 Sept 1971] 38865/72 Heading G2J A chemi-luminescence reaction is observed in a sample cell having a width greater than its depth, the latter being partly defined by a transparent wall. Sample and reactant ports 26, 28 are disposed in a common plane and a discharge port is also provided in this plane and across the cell. As shown, the port is 24 and is formed by a gap in a diaphragm 18 forming the other wall of the cell. The two inlet ports may be coaxial.
