Abstract

1353514 Boots &c BRITISH UNITED SHOE MACHINERY CO Ltd 29 April 1971 [30 April 1970] 12046/71 Addition to 1235096 Heading A3B The lasting machine of the parent Specification which includes wipers which are temporarily arrested when they contact the upper so that an insole plate can be lowered out of the path of the wipers, is modified by including means to vary the positions taken up by the leading edges of the wipers in their temporarily arrested position to suit them to shoes of different sizes, comprising means for detecting the length of the shoe, and means assocaited with the length detecting means for regulating the means for temporarily arresting the wipers. As described the wipers 99 are arrested by a wedge shaped abutment 113 which is moved by piston and cylinder device 116 from a retracted position into the path of a stop member 117 on the piston rod 118 of the wiper operating means. The operative position of the wedge 113 is determined by a stop formed by a piston rod 112 connected to a piston 110 in cylinder 109. In a first embodiment as shown the cylinder 109 is connected by pipe 141 to a cylinder 105 which moves the heel rest 103 into contact with the shoe 101. The spaces 107, 111 in the cylinders 105, 109 and the pipe 141 are filled with hydraulic fluid so that the stop 112 is moved a distance proportionate to the distance moved by the heel rest 103. Movement of the stop 112 varies the operative position of the wedge 113 and thus varies the arrested position of the wipers. In a modification (not shown) the cylinder 109 is controlled by a solenoid operated valve which is actuated by switch which is opened and closed by cam carried by the heel rest. For shoes in a large size range the switch remains open and the stop 112 occupies a retracted position, and for shoes in a small size range the cam closes the switch so that the stop occupies an extended position.

SU422568A1 (en) DEVICE FOR DAILY DISTRIBUTION OF DETAILS 1 The invention relates to the loading devices of machine tools. Devices are known for single-piece delivery of parts from a magazine equipped with a gate, by means of a back-to-back movable gate that is connected to a drive. increases the stroke of the gate. The proposed device differs from the known ones in that the flap is made movable in a vertical position and pivotally connected on spring-loaded forked lever cooperating with a drive shibera.Gakoe performance reduces the magnitude of the stroke shibera.Ia FIG. 1 shows the proposed device; in fig. 2 is a section along A — A in FIG. one; in fig. 3 shows a section B — B in FIG. one; in fig. 4 - the position of the gate at the beginning of its working stroke. The device consists of a magazine 1, a movable damper 2, which is pivotally connected to a spring-loaded forked lever 3, interacting with a cam actuator 4, a gate valve 5, equipped with a spring-loaded lever 6 and a link 7. Rear wall of the magazine 1 has a spike 8. From the cam drive 4 by means of the levers 3 and 6, the movement is transmitted to the gate 2 and the gate 5. While the gate 5 moves to the left (according to the drawing), the slide valve 2 descends sharply downwards and takes the lowest position before post 5 de It will fall to the height of one piece 9. When sliding 5 to the right (according to the drawing), it must send some distance and t before viewing with part 9, the moving flap 2 should rise to its extreme upper position during this time, only after this detail 9 served on a working position. The spike 8 in the wall of the magazine 1 enters the groove of the gate b. When gate D goes to the extreme left position (according to the drawing), item 9, having lowered from store 1 to 15, will be bounded on one side by a thorn b, and on the other, by lowered movable damper 2, which will not give part 9 to be flushed B from right to left 20. Item of the Invention A device for single-piece delivery of parts from a magazine equipped with a shutter, connected with a return actuator of a movable sliding gate, characterized in that, in order to reduce the slide stroke stroke, the shutter is made movable in a vertical direction. papravenlen i30 pivotally connected with a spring-loaded fork-shaped lever, interacting with the gate drive.
