Abstract

1352964 Flexible shaft couplings KUPPLUNGSTECHNIK GmbH 17 April 1972 [17 April 1971] 17522/72 Heading F2U Two shaft mountable flanges 1, 2 are connected by a resilient member of synthetic material comprising a disc 30 normal to the coupling axis, from which extend axially circumferentially spaced bosses 33 alternately from the two faces of the disc, each boss extending from only one face of the disc. The flanges may have dogs 8, 9 which engage after a predetermined twist. The resilient members may be arranged in series. The bosses may have rectangular or oval holes in which square or circular section bosses on mounting bolts 29 pins or rivets may move only radially of the coupling.
