1335663 Resilient couplings DUNLOP HOLDINGS Ltd 31 Dec 1970 [8 Jan 1970] 895/70 Heading F2U In a flexible shaft coupling of the type in which precompressed resilient members 24, 25 are mounted between axial abutments 12, 13- 17 projecting alternately from flanges 10, 11 of the coupled shafts, the resilient members consist of bonded frusto-conical rubber discs 24, 25 and interleaved metal discs 34, with axial openings for the passage of tightening bolts 31. After the compressed units have been assembled in position the bolts 31 are released and withdrawn through openings provided in the abutments 12, 13-17.
