Abstract

1352032 Endless track vehicles ORENSTEIN & KOPPEL AG 19 April 1971 [19 March 1970] 24680/71 Heading B7H In an endless track vehicle the track width is varied by means of a hydraulic ram 5, 8 connected between transverse beams 3a and 3b carried by the track carriers 2 and slidably mounted in chassis frame members 4a. Each frame member 4a carriers at its ends an abutment member 14 having inclined surfaces 15 which contact inclined surfaces on abutments 10 and 11 at each end of each tube 3a, 3b in the extreme positions. Locking devices 18 (Figs. 4, 5, not shown) are provided on the frame members and comprise an eccentrically mounted clamping member (27) which may engage the abutments 11 through openings 47.
