Abstract

1313710 Semitrailers CARMICHAEL & SONS (WORCESTER) Ltd 25 May 1971 [26 May 1970] 25143/70 Heading B7B A semitrailer comprises a cylindrical tank 11 having a frusto-conical forward portion 17 and supported on a frame having a main horizontal portion 21, an upwardly and forwardly inclined portion 22 and a forward portion 23 extending generally forwardly from the inclined portion 22 and at a level above the main portion 21. Gusset plates 24 extend over the vicinity of the junctions between the various frame members. The three frame portions 21, 22 and 23 constitute two box section side members at each side of the semitrailer and are joined by cross members.
