1351943 Operating a tube pressure filter ENGLISH CLAYS LOVERING POCHIN & CO Ltd 19 April 1971 [11 Feb 1970] 6699/70 Addition to 1240465 Heading B1D The pressure in the outer annular compartment of a hydraulic tube pressure filter as disclosed in Specification 1,240,465 is increased to its maximum in two or more stages, constant pressure being maintained at each stage until filtrate ceases to flow before the next increase. Specific cycles relating to press filtering clay slip and gluten slurry are exemplified.
